Mr. Wolff is a founding partner of Favette & Wolff, LLC, a New York based firm creating original and commissioned work, murals, and rendered objects, for over 25 years. Clients include luminaries of Business and the Arts: Bill Gates, Perrier, Jones of NY, Denning and Fourcade. At 21, Wolff loaded a 1977 Chevy Vega with a tent, sleeping bag, and Travelers checks. That began Wolff’s life as a work in progress. A tour of the U. S. led to travel in the Caribbean, and later, Europe. Eventually, a persistent love of Art led him home to the beginnings of a career which is now in its third decade.
Years of commissions and personal exploration have resulted in a broad range: acrylics and oils, photo shoots, award winning installations, and the delicate restoration of religious relics. Mr. Wolff participates in group and solo shows in the U.S. and abroad, original work is on permanent display at the SLI Design Center in Manhattan, and limited editions are in private collections. Much of Tom’s personal work is iconic, and meditates on dualities, often marrying realism and abstract, or chaos and serenity, on the same canvas.
